Aesthetics Awards 2026 Review: What to Expect, Networking and Is It Worth It?

Last Updated on March 17, 2026 by Jane Nriapia

The Aesthetics Awards is one of the most anticipated events in the UK medical aesthetics calendar, bringing together clinic owners, brands, and industry leaders for an evening of recognition, networking, and celebration.

Held the same weekend as the ACE Conference and Exhibition, the awards form part of a much wider industry gathering, with many attendees spending the day at the conference before heading to the awards in the evening.

This year’s event took place at the Hilton Park Lane in London, a well-known luxury venue that set the tone for a glamorous and high-energy evening.

Aesthetics Awards 2026: Venue, Arrival and First Impressions

We stayed at the Hilton Park Lane, which made things much easier logistically. It is a lovely hotel and a fitting location for an event of this scale.

The awards officially started at 6:30pm, but by the time we arrived at 7pm, it was already extremely busy. The reception area was packed, and it was difficult to move around at times.

The first thing we did was check the seating plan so we knew where we would be sitting later in the evening.

I would definitely recommend doing this early, as it helps you get your bearings quickly.

Everyone had a drink in hand, but due to the number of attendees, it took us a while to locate the bar. Once we found it, we grabbed a couple of glasses of fizz and took a moment to take everything in.

The dress code was black tie, and the overall look was very glamorous. Many of the women were wearing long evening dresses, and with so many people in one space, you did have to be mindful not to step on any dress trains.

Networking at the Aesthetics Awards: What to Expect

The atmosphere during the reception was lively, loud, and very social. This is very much a networking-focused event rather than a formal or structured one.

There were several areas set up for photos, including a main branded backdrop near the bar with a professional photographer. We were pleasantly surprised that the queue was short and only had to wait a couple of minutes.

The setup also allowed guests to take their own photos, which helped keep things moving and avoided long queues.

We paused for a moment to take everything in. The room was full of conversation, energy, and movement, with people connecting across all areas of the industry.

One of my personal highlights was meeting Alice Hart-Davis, who I had previously contacted via email. We exchanged a few words and took a photo together, which ended up being one of my favourite moments from the evening.

We also bumped into friends from Cosmetic Courses and spent some time catching up. Despite multiple announcements over the tannoy asking guests to take their seats, it was clear that no one was in a rush. The networking aspect was a priority for most people in the room.

Aesthetics Awards Dinner Review: Food, Seating and Atmosphere

Eventually, we made our way into the main room and found our table.

I had requested not to be seated next to other service providers, but interestingly, I ended up sitting next to another digital agency on one side and clinic owners on the other.

In reality, it worked out well. I was seated with the team from Digital Aesthetics, who I often come across when analysing search results for BoutiqueSEO.

It was actually great to connect in person, and they were genuinely lovely. It is always useful to build relationships, even with those you would typically consider competitors.

The rest of the table included clinic owners and familiar faces from across the industry, so conversation flowed easily.

There was plenty of wine on the table throughout the evening.

In terms of the food, the experience was similar to previous years. It was perfectly edible, but not a standout part of the event.

The starter was probably the best course, although I cannot quite remember what it was. The main course was chicken, which was slightly under-seasoned and a bit dry.

The dessert looked impressive but was not particularly well received at our table.

Awards Ceremony and Entertainment at the Aesthetics Awards 2026

Shannon Kilgariff from Aesthetics Journal opened the evening, although it was quite difficult to hear at times due to the level of conversation in the room.

Entertainment included a performance from Bradley from S Club, who sang some of the classic favourites. This brought a lot of energy to the room, with many people singing along.

The awards themselves were hosted by Rylan Clark, who added humour and personality to the evening.

He delivered exactly the kind of light, self-aware commentary you would expect, and the room noticeably quietened as the awards were announced.

I also managed to get photos with both Bradley and Rylan, which was a great addition to the evening.

After Party and Overall Experience

After the awards, the event moved into a separate room for the after party, where there was a live band and more dancing.

The atmosphere remained high-energy, with plenty of dancing and celebration. We decided to call it a night around midnight, although the event continued until 2am.

Overall, it was a really enjoyable evening. I met a lot of interesting people and had some great conversations across the industry.

Is the Aesthetics Awards Worth Attending for Clinic Owners?

From a business perspective, the Aesthetics Awards offers several clear benefits:

  • Strong networking opportunities with clinic owners, brands, and industry leaders
  • High visibility within the aesthetics space
  • A clear view of how competitive and fast-growing the industry has become
  • An opportunity for clinic owners to recognise, reward, and motivate their teams

Events like this also highlight a wider trend within the industry. Clinics that stand out are those investing not only in treatments and technology, but also in brand, visibility, and patient experience.

For clinic owners looking to improve their visibility and attract more high-quality patient enquiries, investing in a structured digital strategy is essential. My aesthetics SEO services focus on helping clinics appear in front of high-intent patients actively searching for treatments and procedures.

Alongside SEO, having a high-performing clinic website is also critical. Many clinic websites function more like digital brochures rather than patient-generating assets.

Final Thoughts

The Aesthetics Awards is busy, loud, and at times slightly chaotic, but that is part of what makes it effective.

If your goal is to meet people, build relationships, and immerse yourself in the medical aesthetics industry, it is well worth attending.
